LOWINFOOD awarded at the 5th Wine & Hospitality Management Workshop
On 12 April, a PhD student of the University of Tuscia, Mengting Yu, participated in the 5th Wine & Hospitality Management Workshop in Hong Kong to present the preliminary results from the LOWINFOOD project and REGUSTO innovation: “Is doggy-bag a solution or a bin? Introducing a digital innovation to evaluate post-out-of-home consumption”.
A successful result has been achieved, not only by contributing to LOWINFOOD, but also by exchanging innovative ideas and academic findings, extending the discussion around consumer food waste and food waste in hospitality with fellow scholars from China (mainland and Hong Kong), France, Italy, Switzerland, and New Zealand. During the Gala dinner, she was awarded “The Best Presentation of The Young Researchers” by the committee of the Alliance of Wine & Hospitality Management, which organised the Workshop this year.
