LOWINFOOD’s educational approach to reducing food waste at school, an exemplary activity
The Circular FoodShift project, an EU-funded Interreg project aimed at helping authorities in rural and peri-urban Baltic municipalities transform food models with less food waste at schools and gastronomy and new businesses upcycling food and food waste, has recently published the session the LOWINFOOD partner Niina Sundin (SLU) from offered last fall in a webinar they organised.
The webinar was about building “circular economy for food” models, and Niina presented the “educational school meals” approach they have developed and conducted in several schools in the framework of LOWINFOOD.
