Another zero-waste cooking session for secondary students
On 27 November 2023, the LOWINFOOD partners of the Austrian Institute of Ecology conducted their last LOWINFOOD Workshop at Fachschule Dörflerstraße in Vienna (the technical college of Vienna for economic professions/social professions with nursing preparation).
As the LOWINFOOD partner Kevin Kaltenbrunner stated, “we cooked our usual dishes like, chicken and vegetable soup, chicken and vegetable curry (this time with roasted chicken and roasted cauliflower), roasted chicken liver and vegan chocolate mousse for dessert. It was a lot of fun to teach the students new skills and see them try new dishes. In this case chicken liver. At first, everyone was disgusted but in the end, three brave students tried and kind of liked it”.
