LOWINFOOD at the Food 4 Future World Summit 2023
On 16 May 2023, two LOWINFOOD partners attended the Food 4 Future Foodtech World Summit: Elhuyar and KITRO. Manex Urruzola, the coordinator of the communication team of LOWINFOOD, participated in a session regarding Food Loss & Waste Reduction. Specifically, Manex presented five of the LOWINFOOD innovations and discussed the topic together with Mónica de Prado from ELIKA Fundazioa, and Iván González Takmovtseva from Universidad de Deusto, both of them members of our sister project FOODRUS; Circularcaps and 3D Essence Food.
One of the main ideas shared in this discussion was that it must be ensured that the technology developed to reduce food loss and waste reaches the spaces where they have been created to be applied.
