LOWINFOOD participates in the International Workshop “The day after: Food waste prevention after the pandemic”
On 20 January 2021, Clara Cicatiello, the project coordinator of LOWINFOOD, joined this workshop to discuss food waste prevention after the pandemic. She presented some hints on the work we are going to do in LOWINFOOD and discussed with the other speakers what actions are more urgently needed to fight food waste.
The International Workshop was organized under the auspices of the Greek Marketing Academy. It focused on the food waste phenomenon and provided information regarding food waste prevention, good practices and success stories. Academics and practitioners, from different countries and scientific backgrounds, presented and discussed research results, approaches and methods for the reduction of food loss and waste.
