LOWINFOOD at the 98th Annual Conference of The Agricultural Economics Society
On 18-20 March 2024, some representatives of the LOWINFOOD partner James Hutton Institute joined the 98th Annual Conference of The Agricultural Economics Society, held at the University of Edinburgh, UK.
Nazli Koseoglu presented the paper “Innovation as an intervention: How being involved in innovations against food waste changes individuals’ awareness, attitude, and behaviours towards food waste?”. The paper presents the results of the survey conducted with participants to find out whether awareness and attitude towards food waste improve as a result of participation in #LOWINFOOD‘s innovations.
The first results show that the innovations had a mostly positive impact on those who were involved in their implementation, stronger in some constructs and among some demographics than in others. More results from the research will follow soon.
