Cooking with a Michelin-star chef against food waste
On 21 October 2022 and 23 January 2023, the LOWINFOOD partner Ă–sterreichisches Ecology Institute (Austria) organised different workshops as a part of the innovation they are participating in, the holistic educational concept against food waste.
The workshops consisted of a theory session led by the Austrian Institute of Ecology about the amount of food waste produced, amplifying factors and possible solutions. In the second part of the workshops, the attendees cooked together with an experienced Michelin-star chef. The goal is to cook as much food as possible out of a set grocery basket of food items while reducing the kitchen and serving waste to a minimum.
