Matomatic AB is a private company (SME), but due to its history of being a spin off company from research, it is partly owned by the Swedish University of Agricultural Science through its holding company. The company is specialized in developing ICT-tools for restaurants and canteens to support their efforts to quantify food waste, communicate food waste quantities to customers and forecast future production.
Role in LOWINFOOD: The main contribution of MATO is expected in WP5, where it leads task 5.3 and participates to task 5.4. MATO is also involved in WP1, WP6 and WP7 together with all other partners.
