Austrian Institute of Ecology (AIE) is a private, non-profit and non-governmental research organisation focusing on resource management and sustainability. The aim of the AIE lies in the integration of mainly social and environmental aspects into business and consumption activities, specially in the following fields: Sustainable Construction, Urban and Regional Development; Resource Management with focus on and sustainable products and services, waste avoidance and the reduction of food waste; Green Event Management; Participation and Society.
Role in LOWINFOOD: The main contribution of AIE is expected in WP5 (demonstration of the innovations in 5.3 and 5.4). AIE is also involved in WP1, WP6 and WP7 together with all other partners.
