Tuscia University is located in Viterbo, Central Italy. Out of the six departments that constitute the faculty, two of them are involved in the project: the Department for Innovation in Biological, Agro-food and Forest systems (DIBAF) and the Department of Economy, Engineering, Society and Business (DEIM). It runs several EU-relevant research projects dealing with the diffusion of innovation in the agricultural sector, the analysis of eco-innovation, the implementation of stakeholder engagement processes and the economic/financial assessment of agro-food businesses.
Role in LOWINFOOD: Tuscia University is the project coordinator. It is WP leader for WP7 “Project coordination and management”. It will also coordinate task 5.6 to demonstrate the efficacy of a technological solution to track and reduce food waste from home-delivered meals and participate to other tasks in WP1, WP2, WP3, WP4 and WP6.
