Emilia-Romagna Region – Directorate-General for Agriculture, Hunting and Fisheries is the regional public Authority charged of programming, coordination and managing the activities aimed to support the Agricultural holdings and Agro-food regional System. The regional units lead programming, guidance and monitoring activities as well as managing the strategic programs. Moreover, a specific Department, named “Market organisations and supply chain synergies”, manages crises and withdrawals from the market of fresh fruit and vegetables, coordinates the free distribution to the most deprived of fruit and vegetables withdrawn from the market through organizations recognized by the Member State.

Role in LOWINFOOD: The main contribution of RER is expected in WP2, where it participates to task 2.1. RER is also involved in WP1, WP6 and WP7 together with all other partners.
