Regusto is the main brand of the company Recuperiamo srl, an innovative start-up, the brainchild of three professionals with experience in the agro-industrial, software development, marketing and communication sectors. With the aim of finding concrete solutions for preventing and reducing waste throughout the food chain, they designed a food waste reduction B2C app (and B2B platform). Next to the app, Regusto developed even an original eco-friendly foodie bag: the Regusto Bag. Regusto bag is even a tool to communicate and improve the people sensitivity against food waste.
Role in LOWINFOOD: The main contribution of REG is expected in WP5, where it participates to task 5.6, with the development of an additional function in the Regusto app to monitor home-delivered food. REG is also involved in WP1, WP6 and WP7 together with all other partners.
