9 September 2021 - 10 September 2021

The 179th EAAE (European Association of Agricultural Economists) seminar’s objectives are to bring together scholars and researchers that will exchange ideas, practices and research initiatives that cover all relevant current modelling developments for assisting policy-making decisions in agriculture and the agri-food industry in response to the urgent issues of the global economy and the subsequent prevailing societal and environmental conditions.

LOWINFOOD partners Gianluca Di Fiore and Elisa Carloni, from the University of Bologna, are going to present a work that analyses the contexts in which the innovation on CAP Food Surplus withdrawals from Emilia-Romagna Region can be potentially implemented. It is an institutional innovation implemented in Italy, namely a software linking the agricultural sector with charities in the Emilia-Romagna Region (EER) since 2012 and currently managing food donations all over Italy.
